This has been building since 2010, when their hopes of recreating LBJ's Great Society (minus Vietnam), or JFK's Camelot, or FDR's New Deal (all as they imagine them) were dashed. They managed to drag and push the dead carcass over the finish line again in 2012 but the proles still didn't react with proper obedience in 2014. Now they are stuck with reviving Nixon as a best case scenario in 2016, and none of them are very happy about it.
