A number of people have made similar observations. We had a local bond election, and a "lengthen our term in office" and "let us meet less often" propositions being pushed as a package. The combination did not look good. Voters said "yes, you may meet less often, but keep two year terms and oh, no, not a $250,000,000 bond right now."
