Go back to sleep

The press is incurious when it gets the result it wanted.  Otherwise, it's insatiable, even if that means poring over your high school yearbook.

The 2020 election is a nightmare from which I — along with millions of others — am trying to awake.

Or it is the sociopath battered wife relationship Americans are in, that they need to awaken themselves. As I wrote before, awaken to your awful condition. Otherwise, people will stay in the bad relationship, making excuses.

But this is America. It’s not supposed to be a Kafka novel.

Oh? Did no one inform him yet that this is Ymar's world, where we control the horizontal and the vertical? I guess not.

So how did we get to a place where, days after the election was held, despite many proclamations by news organizations to the contrary, we still don’t know who won, we don’t know who voted, and we don’t know for sure whether the rules were followed in either voting or counting?

Nani, didn't Ymar make the call as late as November 2 and as early as several weeks back, that the elections will be determined during November 12th to 20th, how can people still think it would be determined on the third?

I never thought that, given early information I received.

Did people really expect things to be decided on Nov 3rd, even though Trump kept tweeting stuff about fraud? I mean, I know it is Trump, but still, this stuff was certainly a potential timeline waiting to happen, yet people are "surprised" as if once again, the psychopath beats them into subimssion and they are "surprised" they want to get back with the psycho again.

“The role of declaring the winner of a presidential election in the U.S. falls to the news media. The broadcast networks and cable news outlets have vowed to be prudent.”

That's like a sociopath telling you that they get to decide whether you are allowed to leave them. Listen to what they are saying and doing.

Of course the USA does not have an election commission to determine election results... which is perhaps part of the problem.

Americans don't believe in fake news? Yet they rely on the main sewer fake news to call their elections... okay. That makes sense. No, it does not. But then again, I stopped expecting humans to make sense a long time ago.
