I like them both, about equally, I think. What struck me was the difference in tone. Cash's version is somber while the Southern Gospel Revival's version is upbeat. I'm not a big fan of the nasal singing, but the upbeat take on it seems more appropriate for a song about resurrection.

I like the Johnny Cash version better. The heavily nasal voice, like Wilson's, has never interested me.
