He wrote another about Jim (whom "you don't mess with," no more than you pull on Superman's cape), and another about a Roller Derby girl of formidable size and strength.
He had kind of a gift for summarizing what made a particular cool character cool, and his songs were often clever. Unfortunately he died very young in a plane crash. Fortunately his wife and child were not aboard, though his wife often accompanied him on stage.
