As a kid, I saw what the Marine Recruits went through on a nearly daily basis. My Dad was a civilian employee at MCRD in San Diego CA throughout the Vietnam War era. We had Marine DI's and Officers as family friends.
Probably why I chose the Air Force instead of the Marines.🙄
