The governor of Tennessee decided that he wanted gun control laws, and when the legislature refused to pass any he
called them back for a special session. Of course such a session promised the usual
theatrics from those politicians aligned with disarming the public, and the promised
theater occurred.
Nevertheless, the special session of the Tennessee General Assembly has now
adjourned sine die with no new gun control laws passed. There was pushing and shoving on the floor as a closing act to the theatrics, but no laws restricting the rights of the people of Tennessee.
