Cryptocurrency and rebellion

A old science fiction story posited a country in which the country's chief executive had a free hand in almost every way, with one curb:  three anonymous citizens controlled a radio link to a bomb in his head.  If they unanimously agreed he was screwing up:  a sudden, dramatic impeachment.  Now a self-described cryptoanarchist is setting up something similar with a crowd-sourced bitcoin-financed website that he calls the Kickstarter of political assassinations.

Heinlein was right. These are the "crazy years".
This is a nice illustration of a system that would very quickly devolve to the the lowest common denominator- since the top of the heap is well protected, how about that guy with the yard sign we don't like? What a great way to empower cowards.

The website organizer is openly hoping that no one will have the guts to hold office. He's an anarchist.

Of course, he gets a 1% commission for his 'efforts'.

Nobody said anarchists had to be stupid, Douglas. Although this one is, if he thinks this game could succeed without him getting killed in the first few hands.
