When I was stationed at Ft Yukon those years ago, we took advantage of the training opportunity and engaged the unidentified tight formation of 9 intruders and shot them all down.
In simulation, though, and we kept the sim in-house.
But this whole Santa thing, doesn't it smell kinda fishy? I mean, he hits, what, roughly a billion targets in 24 hours, counting coal and presents? He's gotta have some kinda quantum drive in that sleigh or something. And it's mostly NOE flying, too, probably wouldn't show up much on radar anyway, but everyone says we can track him around the world. Don't you suspect this "trackable Santa" bit is just a decoy?

If they have a tracking solution they probably have a firing solution as well.
