Bob Dole was the first Republican presidential candidate I cast a ballot for. He had a dark wit and probably would have appreciated the Bee zinger. Powerline ran a piece yesterday about the experimental dose of streptomycin that apparently saved his life when he was dreadfully wounded in WWII.
