Star Wars and Star Trek are sorta like light disclosure projects.
Some parts of it are based on, whether the writers know it or not, facts that happened or are happening.
The primary points are Lucas getting the idea of the jedi from the DJEDI of Khem, an ancient mystery school that focuses on psychic powers and other things alchemical.
Gene Roddenberry was involved with the channel group Council of 9, which is connected to Uri Geller and the book Only Planet of Choice free online.
Deep Space 9 emissary was basically Roddenberry as himself.

These movies are well done. The Deep Space 9 look back documentary and the Horizon Zero Dawn fan edited movie using in game assets.
I also noticed that Star Wars Old Republic Sith story lines were more interesting and lore educational than the light jedi stuff.
A "light saber" is basically an athame in magickal circles, although it is made from Atlantean tech powering a crystal (haha, crystals are not only for healing) that emits an energy discharge.
The Red represents the root of fear and anger, suppressed. The green represents the heart chakra, the higher emotions such as compassion or empathy.
Them trying to stick the red sabers in the light and the green sabers in the dark, is kind of like an existential fight/argument over which philosophy is better. In truth, both are incomplete versions. The dark gets more converts if they get more fear and anger, as Antifa is doing. The light gets more converts and soldiers, if they can spread love, the way Trump gets now from his antics.
One of the chants before the re election was "We Love you". Trump said that he does not think he has ever heard that directed against a politician in his life. Neither have I.
As I referrenced Marianne Williamson, she is right that love will conquer. God wins because love will take its center stage. And I am sure the smugglers, rogues, and agents of Star Wars, do not quite comprehend that, anymore than a normal person can comprehend this mystical invisible Force called electricity, magnetism, or Divine power.
SWTOR's has 8 protagonist story lines that can be played through. Each corresponding to a base class. 4 Empire, 4 Republic. 2 Sith, 1 agent, 1 power soldier.
Trying to come up with interesting Star wars stories that don't involve jedi, appeals more to the audience I think. As Lucas really had no idea what the Force was, given he was never initiated into the Djedi school.
Daniel, do you mind if I ask why a DR650 as opposed to any number of other possibilities? Just curious, and maybe dreaming about eventually getting back in the saddle.

America has elements of the Empire, Sith, Jedi, and Republic all in one.
To some extent, Trump is billed as a Palpatine. In other viewpoints, he is a rebel.
Reality layers, get way more complicated than Lucas ever could envision or produce a movie on.
