It's unusual to hear a two-time US Attorney General state that he's not confident that Congress would defend even its own building from defacing or destruction.
The Progressive-Democrats generally spent their 5-minute periods castigating Barr and impugning his integrity without letting him respond, many of the Republicans gave up some of their time to let him respond, and the result became to obviously bad for the Progressive-Democrats that Nadler stopped defending his members at the bottom of the hearing and cutting them short.
It reached the point that Nadler wanted to hustle the end of the hearing so badly he tried to deny Barr a 5-minute break near the end.
Lewis did an intensely brave thing once, and some other brave things at other times; and many other good, decent, and kind things. But he wouldn’t mind being bused as a partisan cloak; he chose that part for himself many times in life.
John Lewis is being debriefed and grilled across the Veil, after purification of his human ego and other junk he carried with him.

THus he will see things from the Godhead's point of view, omniscient. That will crack any soul in time if they even have a sliver of weakness in them.
The Divine Counsel does not need Divine Judgment or Punishment of souls. They do that well enough on their own.
One can escape human justice by dying or via bribes (hi Epstein), but escaping Divine Justice... heh, no such luck, mortals.

I still think the real reason for "defund the police" is so that all the corrupt and evil traitors in America, will hve an easier time escaping the nazi hunters when the sealed indictments are released. No police, no way to arrest them when they flee or kill themselves. Soros hasn't been seen in some time. And many CEOs have resigned and gone underground, literally, into bunkers. Maybe they really think they can crash out there for the rest of their life, if police disappear.
