So, listening to The Hu on YouTube brings a lot of interesting recommendations. Apocalypse Orchestra was one of them. Not sure what I think, but it seemed appropriate to share here.
My kingdom for an edit button. Let's see if I can not screw this up this time.
I like The Hu, but I can't say much for that Medieval metal stuff. This does give me an opportunity to plug Sabaton, a Swedish metal band that only sings about actual historical battles. I'm not a metal guy in general, but I love these guys. Try their songs "The Red Baron" and "Fields of Verdun" from their album "The Great War". Hopefully, you'll be pleasantly surprised.
I know Sabaton thanks to a younger male relative who is a huge fan. I helped learn about metal when he was starting into teenage-hood and discovered he liked the genre. I gave him a small collection of the classic albums so he could see what he liked.

I’ll see what he thinks of this.
