It’s also interesting that the very people who created the laws to ensure [black mens'] incarceration, now want to give their right to vote back to them so that they can in turn vote for them.... [N]o one ever discusses how black men are never lauded unless they can be used when murdered or attacked by police. The democrats push policies for every group with the exception of black men, unless you count mass incarceration. White women, white working class (white men), LGBTQRST…, Jews, Immigrants, black women etc., but never anything that speaks to the plight of black men. White liberals love ranting about the pay inequality for black women by comparing them to the pay rates of white men, but cleverly leaves out the fact that black women and black men make less than white women. This clever game of pretending to lift up black women, is nothing more than a rouse to use black women for votes on issues that place white women in elevated positions of power.Yes, it seems some people are catching on to the way the identity politics game is played.
Just Black Men?
The article is by a black woman and for black men, but I think there may be a wider lesson or two to be learned. Mind you, there's plenty that are unique and particular concerns of that community as well. But there are a few general lessons hidden in this angry analysis.

The Dems never push any policies for black men? Seriously?
It's worth noting that the recent advances in incarceration law are Trump's.
Black men get something sometimes, of course. But she's not wrong to notice that they're in the inferior position to black women, who are in the inferior position to LGBTQIKXTTT...? And they are not too superior, themselves, to the "Latinix" who got addressed in their own allegedly-preferred tongue by multiple Democrats at the debates, who are all the time working to ensure that their illegal factions can grow at will.
Black men are almost white men, these days, for all they get from the party. Not quite, but they're the least protected of all the protected classes.
Not gonna waste one second of my divine intelligence trying to figure out Human Toxicity antics.
Don't forget record low black unemployment under Trump.
I think you have to distinguish between the words used and the actual policies, and also the base assumptions behind them. If the Democrats cared about black men then welfare and child support would be structured in an entirely different way. Why are leniency programs considered pro-black if you don't at least silently accept the evidence that black men commit the majority of crimes?
It's a bit of a sweet irony that Trump's racism, i.e. the fact he doesn't pander to ethnic groups, is exposing the fact that the Dems and the GOPe were basically in a bidding war for Hispanic votes for the past twenty years, to the detriment of both blacks and working class whites.
Democrats respect Black men except those who are Black military veterans.
