There was a news story a few years back... Dave Barry reported on it. https://www.washingtonpost.com/archive/lifestyle/magazine/1992/01/05/mussel-beach/728b8bd7-4439-46c4-bae8-beb1e4505667/?noredirect=on&utm_term=.811479d7e830
Eb Jenkins took sick and his wife went out early in the morning to tend his lobstah pots. She didn't come back, and didn't come back, and the police came around the next morning. "We've got some bad news, Eb," they said. "She went down in about three fathom. By the time we pulled her up she'd been dead quite some time. There was half-a-dozen lobstahs hanging off her. What would you have us do with the body?"
Eb thought a long minute about how times had been hard lately, and finally said "Take them lobstahs off and set her again."
