Get To Work, Fellow Oppressors

Apparently we're really letting some people down by not being out there beating and harassing our opponents. I blame myself; I haven't threatened anybody in at least a week or two.

Well, not intentionally. Some people seem to be threatened by our very existence, but apparently that's not enough.

UPDATE: And then there were two.

Smollet's never going to be my first example. I've got plenty more.

Seems like we were told about this a while back.

"Do not bear false witness."

Sometimes those who perpetrate fake hate crimes get negative consequences. Derek Caquelin, a freshman at the University of Chicago, was suspended for having falsely claimed that he was the victim of racist hacks on his Facebook page. He was permitted to return the next year.

As AVI says, there are a number of such instances.

Racially charged hacking incident was just a hoax to push diversity agenda.

What we don't know is whether Smollett staged the attack or he's a real victim. It's Chicago, a town with which I'm familiar, so the attack being real is entirely plausible, regardless of motive.

The idea that the attack was staged, while entirely plausible, also, is equally entirely unknown based on the pseudo-journalism writing about it. CBS Chicago's article at the second link provides an all-too-typical example. From the opening paragraphs:

according to multiple sources with direct knowledge of the investigation and Other sources corroborated that information.

So we have a rumor confirmed by a rumor, or a made up source pretending to be confirmed by other made up sources. Nowhere in the article is an on-the-record source quoted, just one interviewer's claim--uncorroborated even by his co-authors--of an interview with a principle--which could be taken as on the record had not the NLMSM already so shredded any hint of credibility.

I never start the oppression until the check has cleared the bank. I might spring for the threatening note using letters cut out of magazine pages as a kind of complimentary amuse bouche.

The false witness thing was part of the divine covenant made with the 12 tribes of Israel. It does not include the Gentiles, barbarians, or other people who have their own gods and relationships.

As for America being a Christian nation... well that's interesting. Just look on top of the US Capitol dome.
