Apparently, he performs the whole thing live. He'll be up in the northeast in March and April if you want to catch him.

If, on the other hand, the northeast is a bit far, he sells a DVD on his website as well.

It's got a nice drama to it, and perhaps gives us some of the emotional sense of what hearers would have experienced. I have no reason to think it is strictly authentic - who knows what the hell they did - but it takes it up out of the realm of plodding recitation which we learned in Anglo-Saxon class. I imagine they liked a good show in 1000 AD as we do now.
