Hollywood: Fantasyland

Tom Cruise: 'My job is as hard as fighting in Afghanistan.' Picked a great week to stick your foot in that one, son.

Certain Marines crafted this appropriately off-color response. [May have to be logged in to FB to see it.]

Mr. Cruise has people shooting at him all the time on sets. And the IED's are freakin' terrible in Hollywood. Seriously, they should give combat pay and a CIB. What a guy!

I hope his ex-wife gives him all the Hell he deserves. ;-)

The Corps should invite him for a VIP close-up and personal experience of a day in the life of a Marine at a COP in Afghanistan. That would make for some good PR.

Actually, that is taken somewhat out of context. The Armorer posted a link on his FB the other day: the "Afghanistan" quote is something his lawyer said, not Cruise, but he did say that being away from his daughter while on location was hard. For any decent father, I don't think you can fault him for saying that.
