Well, being the ... that I am, that letter would get my back up. My response, posted on Yelp!, would include the letter itself and go something like this:
Go for it. If I haven't been served with your suit by COB Thursday next, everyone who reads Yelp! will know, beginning Friday morning, how bogus your threats are and have confirmation of the suboptimal nature of your practice regarding customer relations.
Discovery will be fun, both with you, Dr Coppola, and with you, Ms de la Riva vis-a-vis your apparent violation of my doctor patient privilege.
On the other hand, Ms B's lawyer's letter (linked to in the OP link) probably does the job better.
