Sage advice, though.

Reminds me of the time in high school when I broke my hand. In those days, casts were made of plaster and were cast in place. The plaster wrapping was warm as the GP applied it. I commented on its warmth, and the doc said "The heat will go away when it cools down."

We had gators in Savannah, though many fewer. They were already getting too far north for their strict comfort, but it gets plenty hot in Savannah in summer.
