The colors are about to peak here. The cottonwoods are peaking, with the oaks and pears and others not too far behind. The lands away from trees already wear a lovely brown fur coat of short grass curing as it sits. The heat seems to have at least retreated, and true autumn coolness is coming in as Taurus begins easing into view in the evenings.
