There's definitely been snow up here in Jackson County. Not massive amounts, but pictures from major stops on the Blue Ridge Parkway like Waterrock Knob and the highest point pull-off show the ground covered with snow (except on the black asphalt, which is still keeping clear). They closed the Parkway north of Asheville for snow earlier this week.

It looks more like a heavy frost than snow. But looks can be deceiving.

Always one of the most beautiful sights, whether it is an individual tree or a landscape.
Looks like fire and smoke.
We've left the area. I will miss watching the snow and frost lines at play upon the heights.
