Stocking Stuffers

In a true Dad move -- I mean my Dad especially -- I just stuffed my wife’s and son’s stockings with tire puncture repair kits, tire pressure gauges, and battery terminal cleaning tools.

And dry gas. Don't forget the dry gas. Sometimes I do windshield wipers, but not this year.

Merry Christmas, Grim, to you and your family - and to everyone at the Hall.

Thank you, Elise. And to you, and to yours.

AVI,

We are far enough south that dry gas isn’t in common use. With the ethanol, and the usually higher ambient temperatures, it’s not a regular requirement. Now I run only ethanol free gasoline through my motorcycles, but they are kept in the garage in weather that is both freezing and damp. Right now they have a dose of Seafoam in them each. It uses Isopropanol as a fuel dryer.

Yeah, I should have thought of that. I would say that having a bit of isopropyl is a necessity here, but lots of people get along without it, having only occasional problems. I just like to avoid occasional problems myself.

Wise policy.

One of the first things I gave my son when he started driving was a good air pressure gauge.
