Exactly one time in my life, I rode a motorcycle while wearing shorts. That was down in Florida. It seemed sensible given the heat, until the first time I touched my bare leg to the hot pipes.
Nope. Wranglers and leather boots from now on.
Waynesville, by the way, has the best little Mexican cantina that I've yet found in Western NC. It's called 'Papa's and Beer,' if you're ever up this way.
