Solomon on BIden

John Solomon at The Hill continues to publish some of the best investigative reporting out there. Suing for documents under the Freedom of Information Act has become an indispensable tool.

"Suing for documents under the Freedom of Information Act has become an indispensable tool."

Which is why Rick Perry of the EPA used a fake name -- Richard Windsor -- for his official government e-mail account. Anybody doing an FOIA request for any message traffic to or from director Rick.Perryz@EPA.gov would get very little, while real business would all be conducted by "Richard.Windsor@EPA.gov".

Same with Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, and the private hardware / software / Microsoft OUTLOOK email server he set up in a closet behind his home toilet. Any FOIA request and the response would be "The federal government does not hold any such documents."

It's a diabolical dodge by some terribly evil men.

Oh, wait.

I mean, Lisa Jackson and Hillary Clinton.

When WOMEN do it, it's okay. This is not a partisan double standard. It's actually a pretty clever way of dealing with burdensome administrivia imposed by the patriarchy.

In fairness, I think the "Clinton" is more important than the "Women." Special rules for their team.
