Be That America

Once we were that America. I wish we could be again.

I liked the idea of trading our socialists for their protestors. Even two-for-one. It won't happen though. If you put our socialists on record and asked if they wanted to go to Hong Kong, few - perhaps even zero - would take it. They would want to get to the microphone to comment at length about the subject, but a simple up/down would result in all of them slinking away.

The smart Hong Kong, the old guard that knew the reality of Maoist China, left Hong Kong nearly the moment it turned over.

I pity the younger generation that grew up in the "Two China" system of Hong Kong vs Mao. The Mao Demons always try to grab more. Although in this case, this is hard to parse as it is Hong Kong itself that detonated the explosive not Mao. Potential false flag insertation by the Gang of 9 so that Hong Kong will erupt like Tianamen Square?

The same guy in charge of the secret police forces crushed the guy with tanks at the Square, persecuted Falun Gong (to the point where the name itself is censored China wide), and is now gunning for Hong Kong? Pehraps.

The America I know does things like give orders such as : Stand Down, let them die.

Maybe this is the wrong AMerica? Or maybe this is what happens to a country that ignores Ymar's warnings.

“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.”- Some guy Americans ignore
