Drink/Thought Pairings
So, I guess we are doing this. Co-bloggers are encouraged to suggest a drink to go along with the thought or reflection they are proposing to the Hall. It can be fancy, like Tom's suggestion of Chianti Classico, or brutal, like my suggestion of Jerry Rum. I trust you're all experienced hands.

Well, fancy in the sense that the wine's Italian. It's less than $20 for a bottle at the local liquor store.
One of my friends made a custom drink for me.
2 parts bourbon
1 part ginger liqueur
3/4 part honey syrup
squeeze of lemon
a few dashes Angostura bitters
It's not too sweet, fairly strong, and fairly potent. I like em.
No pairings necessary. Bitburger goes well with anything.

Mike, that sounds tasty.
Eric, I don't think anyone is contesting the idea that Bitburger goes well with anything, per se, just that it may not be the best fit for everything.
Tom, my claim is that it is, and I'm stickin' to it.
