"Dungeons and Dragons: sinister craze or good night in?"
You're a little late to the party. We did this like thirty years ago in America. Turns out, it's just good fun. Kids benefit from trying on various roles, exploring what it means to be heroic.
Some of them even go on to try out the lessons they learned in real life. Imagine.

To an extent. When I was growing up, though, we did our role playing outdoors.
Nor were we limited to dragons and fantasy heroes. We were boxers, football and basketball players, soldiers, cowboys, indians, cops, robbers, space farers, and on and on.
Although in one sixth grade class where the teacher made the mistake of having us role play indoors, a group of us wrapped Superman in green kryptonite and threw him into the sun.

The Left doesn't control D and D games. If they did, then it might become a problem. So far, GamerGate would be the one with de facto control over that crowd.
