At this time, Rand Paul seems the only choice. Someone else may emerge by 2016, but for the moment he's the only one even interested in the good fight.
It seems Gov. Christie has decided to be run by his emotions. I suppose that plays well with many voters, alas.
"I feel deeply. I care so much about widows and orphans that I'm willing to use your money to address the problem regardless of what you think of the efficacy of my plan, because that's the kind of caring guy I am. You apparently don't care at all, because you want the people who care to use their own money to show how much they care."
