Very nice but you'll have to explain that Appalachian concept to me. Every piper practices with chanters and a bodhran. Similar sessions have been taking place for a couple millenia.
I meant the "dueling" concept in particular. Any late-20th-century musician in the English-speaking world who names a song "Dueling X" (where "x" is an instrument) has to be taken as paying homage to Arthur Smith.
