In Japanese, I heard a saying which translated something like "the nail that sticks out gets hammered flat First".

That would also apply to masculinity in an effeminate or decadent Mainstream Culture.

Raven, E the Hairdresser vs Larry C the Monster Hunter, interesting setup.

Not sure I believe the correlations that are drawn in the essay. Pity about more women not exercising their right to own a gun though.

That was my thought, too: the disparity struck me as more an opportunity to arm the women. :)

What the H___ is buttercup's finger doing on the trigger? Talk about war on women.

Gives a new (old) meaning to "trigger warning." I've been microagressed. By metrosexual painted fingernails, yet.

Regarding the linked-to article, I'm down with Democrats (and Progressives, and Liberals generally) staying unarmed while the rest of us arm up.

Still, as noted above, there is a definite marketing opportunity there, regarding women--at least those who survive the buttercups' war on them.

Disarming Demoncrats while arming up loyalist factions and civilian security forces in cities like Chicago, would be a good deployment of COIN, but not even the most extreme or nationalistic sentiments of American patriotism, were keen on that.

They refused to treat their American traitors as enemies, even as the Left waged an unrelenting war on humanity and on America.

People will believe whatever they want to be true. Or fear to be true.
