Turns out COVID doesn't know how to tell why you're in a crowd after all

Houston protestors are starting to report COVID cases now.  Newsweek's approach is priceless:  starting with the brave declaration of one sufferer that she doesn't regret her courageous stand for an instant, and continuing with the Houston Mayor's explanation that it's too soon to blame the protests for the new outbreak, because the Texas governor "packed people into bars and restaurants."

The only thing they left out was some sniffing over the bitter clingers who plan to attend the Bad Man's Tulsa rally.

Maybe humanity is going to purge themselves. Saa, who knows.

At this rate, what's next, an asteroid falling scenario or an alien invasion? Haha.

Jesus: It's time to rescue and save humanity.

Humans: There's something falling from the sky. Activate the nuclear missiles and shoot it.

Satan: Muahaha, see I told you humans can't be saved.

No word whether she quarantined herself after. I would think that would be an important part of her story.

I also liked the fact that the Mayor "feels" this is the second wave now. Nice science, there.

2 died of Ebola: Obama should resign!

4 died in Benghazi: They had Hillary testify for 11 hours, held 33 hearings, and launched a multiyear probe.

120,000 died and every 4 days it’s a 9/11 equivalent number of deaths due to Covid.

What number will make it ok to call for Trump’s resignation? 200,000? 1,000,000?

You can call for it whenever you want. It's already ok. He's not a reader of Grim's Hall, though, so you might want to do it where he can hear you better.

@ bc - and why do you think the deaths are Trump's fault? Associations are not causes, and Trump might actually be responsible for saving lives. You could check out what is happening in other countries with lots of international connections, for example, and see what you think. Try Belgium, maybe.

Also, Hillary did not actually testify, but evaded questions - as she has done many times before.

How many facts will it take before her defenders say a word against her?

2.8 million Americans die every year, no matter who's in the White House. How many people are going to have to die before we get serious about the problem?

Are you being deliberately stupid or is it natural?

Majority of Covid deaths are preventable. You are deliberately choosing to support the President, Party, and the conservatism that exacerbates, extends, and increases deaths.

A 9/11 event every 4 days. Do you grasp the meaning of it? How many 9/11s will it take before you admit that probably maybe something should be done to prevent these deaths?

bc, I'll take the liberty of reminding you that there is a strict policy here of not using ad hominem with the others in the hall. Please be mindful, else you risk being asked to leave (that decisions is always ultimately up to our gracious host). Civil debate is always welcome.
