When I first named this “Grim’s Hall” I had in mind a
meadhall, like
Beorn’s Hall or
Hereot. Now, twenty years and more on, I make sure to keep the vision.
Ten gallons of blueberry/blackberry mead, made today and hopefully ready by Christmas.
Straight mead, bottled and ready today.

Good for you. My parents made wine from grapes they harvested from the woods and from dandelions.
They even made a batch of lye soap one year, though they didn't drink it.
We make tea out of the dandelions. I ought to make soap; we have plenty of ashes from the wood fires.
