My bank is run by hardliners who lock the bank vault instead of leaving it open for the people. My local police are hardliners who will arrest you if they pull you over blind drunk instead of convening a drum circle on the side of the road to investigate the deepseated needs that drove you to drink. I attended a hardliner college that would flunk you out if you failed all your exams.
It's awful the way hardliners have infested every nook of society. All this talk of standards and consequences is so inflexible, divisive, erratic, and hateful.
