I originally thought bagpipes were confined to Scotland. Then I found out that Galicia in northern Spain, also used bagpipes. The link between Scotland and Galicia is that both are Celtic. Now I find out that bagpipes are used in Jerusalem.Gringo
That trilling is quite typically Arabic, and something I can't recall ever hearing from Celtic bagpipe uses.
