We watched and enjoyed "The Closer." It's a little startling to see Netflix show some spine about this.

Three days in a row, the NPR radio news/talk formats have interviewed Trans-activists claiming some kinds of harm they suffered from the NetFlix show.
Where does that community learn that accent? It's not regional. It's not a family thing. How do the several individuals choosing to represent their diversity all wind up sounding the same?
