“Under the suggestion and guidance of the BIPOC members” of the group, a New Zealand youth environmental protest group inspired by teen activist Greta Thunberg disbanded, accusing itself of racism.
The racism is real enough. Both "BIPOC" and "Pākehā" will someday be treated as racial slurs, but they can't see it.

Sad? Hilarious IMO.
There was once a rather sick toy--it was a box with a mechanical hand in it, and a switch on the outside. If you turned it on, the hand would come out and turn itself off....
This reminds me that I haven't denounced myself recently.
Under apartheid, the thought leaders divided people into
White
and
Colored
African
Indian
In the US the thought leaders (mostly white) divide people into
White
and
Other = BIPOC
It seem curious that they are even more rigorous in their divisions than the apartheid theorists.
I think it is time to denounce users of the phrase/acronym BIPOC: it contains within it the words "colored person," a phrase of infamous and triggering history.
US leaders are neo-Marxists. They have to have a dialectic with two opposing sides.
