Lovely. My grandmother had one of these, made from old clothing. The different fabrics and different thicknesses of the strands made it all nubbly which feels wonderful on bare feet.
A pretty piece of work! I like the gradient of color.
My mother used to make things like this, I think. We certainly had them around.
Reminds me of an Persian carpet type called a Gabbeh.
