Gen. Curtis Scaparrotti and his European Command staff were less excited by the news.
“I thought France was the only Islamic country in Europe,” intelligence officer Jason Smith confessed.... Scaparrotti addressed the issue briefly in a press conference this morning. “Look I came to Europe for the same reason as everyone else – to get as far away from Muslims as possible,” he said. “If this instability keeps up I’m packing my bags and heading back to Korea.”
I wonder if there are any plans to evacuate the nuclear weapons from Incirlik?

The administration knew. Maybe even was in on it.
I just got a USO fundraising letter this past week, which stated as part of its' pitch: "...several weeks ago the Commander of the Mission Support Group at Ramstein Air Base in Germany announced a Non-Combatant Evacuation Order of a military families from Incirlik Air Base in Adana, Turkey...."
Way to give away the story, guys.
Now that's interesting.
Somebody decided to authorize nukes on a foreign country's airbase, to be stored there in case of what...? For the same country that refused the US military access to Iraq. That makes about as much as the city person opening the gates to the barbarians while the city's main field army is coming to lift the siege.
If Bush had used Hussein's bag of tricks, he would have detonated a WMD in Iraq and blamed it on Hussein Obola. Then there would be "WMDs" right.
