The ironic thing about ALEC is that they used to be a conservative group as well as a corporate bill mill. As seems to be par for the course for Republican-leaning organizations, they've decided the conservative elements are too controversial and cut them from their agenda. Now it's full-time corporate service.

The Democratic press is trying to play this as a negative - because of course decent parties don't have such a crowded field.
I'm happy every gets a shot. I expect that whoever is nominated will be my 3rd-4th choice - and that's okay.
That would be an improvement over the usual, really. My top three candidates are usually out of the race before I even get to vote in the primary.
Maybe I'll run.
