I'm sure I told you that when I was a boy myself, there was a burglary at a home a few miles away. The adults in the family were off at work, and their sons had done what boys used to do in the afternoons after school -- they went off in the woods with their .22 rifles and plinked at small game.
The boys came home, and found the burglars stealing their family's stuff, so they ordered them to surrender. The burglars didn't, and this was in the days before cell phones, so it was just these two boys against a pair of grown men. Naturally, the boys opened fire on them.
Once the burglars had fled speedily to their car and driven away, the boys went into the house and called the sheriff. His deputies didn't have too much trouble finding the bleeding burglars a few miles away.

Now that's the way boys used to be.

But that's profiling'! And that's wrong.
