Sorrows of Parting

It’s always hard to leave behind someone you really love.

I mean the bike, not the Winchester ’94.

I crossed the high pass at Panthertown this morning. It was 34 degrees and pouring. After a long day of airports I’m in rain-soaked DC. I’ll be here through Saturday.

That is quite the stack of artwork. I like the poster, only am not sure if anything we have these days constitutes a "culture".
Out here in the PNW we are deep into temperate rain forest weather, moss will grow on your eyeballs if you don't keep blinking. So no riding for a while yet.

The artwork is the wife’s; she’s planning a sale at Woolworth Walk in Asheville, a local gallery, should any of you be down that way this winter.

Reminds me of this scene from La Boheme.
