Well, This Should Be Fun

Nothing bothersome yet, but they've convinced me that tomorrow is going to be a fun day. May be a few fun days before it's over.

I'm looking forward to seeing the pix of the snowforts and hearing who won the battle of the Castle snowball fight.
We're having a heat wave! We got above freezing today!! And maybe tomorrow, too. More snow this weekend, though. That's alright, though. Doesn't bother me a bit.

I do feel for y'all that aren't climatized or used to this kind of weather, though. I suggest the Miyagi defense wrt to driving if at all possible.
And enjoy the snow!!

So far I have won the snowball fights, because the boy is too excited to take care of his aim.

Still have power, but we're told to expect another few inches of snow and ice, and 20 mile-an-hour winds. The ice storm warning continues until tomorrow afternoon.

Snowstorms can be lovely if one doesn't have to be anywhere in the midst of one (says the person whose forecast is predicting a minimum of 12 inches and a maximum of 20 inches by tomorrow afternoon). An ice storm something else entirely - it's gorgeous but deadly and impossible to shovel.

I trust you have a heat source other than electricity and lots of wood laid in for it along with other provisions. Stay warm and watch your step.

Meanwhile, I'm having a heatwave up here -- we're already above freezing!

Could y'all please ship some of that white wet out this way? We're already hearing "fire weather watch" noises for the weekend.

Me, too, Tom!! Got up to a whopping 41 yesterday.
I think this calls for something special.

Well, if you want a proper heat wave, try this.

I don't, really. I would just like some pleasant spring weather.

Fireplace, coffee, wool hat, rubber boots, a nice bottle of "Old Autopsy"
and a snowball throwing trebuchet.
All these can add zest to your impromptu Arctic environment.

Mr. Cash has a few words about the weather.

We're supposed to get 8-14 inches. Had the ice storm last week and spent most of the weekend clearing fallen tree limbs.

The ice was worse than snow - very destructive. Enormous trees down and lots of damage.

Stay warm and safe!

Ok, if nobody else will, I will:

What is "Old Autopsy", raven?
