Reminds me of the shooting competition in
Winchester '73. The one where they're shooting dollars thrown into the air? Then they start shooting postage stamps placed over the center of a ring, so they're passing the bullet through the ring itself.
With enough practice, I suppose anything is possible -- if your eyes are good enough.

Hand-eye coordination -- something I have almost none of. What I do have is fine motor coordination at close range. Somebody else gonna have to shoot them injuns, while I miniaturize.
And the incomparable Jimmy Stewart: Shenandoah, How the West Was Won, Harvey, Vertigo, The Philadelphia Story, It's a Wonderful Life. Those hardly scratch the surface.
Sign Machii up for the White Sox. He has to use a bat, though....
It's interesting--and useful--that he used a slicing motion to cut through the iron tube, rather than simply powering down through it. That also contributed to the only slight crushing of the tube and the only slight cut in the underlying wood.

I think at the shooting coin level you've gone beyond normal hand/eye coordination. There's a zen component to physical performance that most of us have probably encountered in sports, most obviously basketball.
When I was shooting clays regular and hit a bad string I fell back on a tip from a match shooter I knew. "Swing through and don't shoot until you're sure you've swung too far." Powder! His theory was trying to just miss turned you're thinking off and let your innate capability take over.
Winchester '73! Great movie. As much as I love John Wayne I do think Jimmy Stewart is the best cowboy actor. He's got an edge on him like no other.
Not to denigrate match shooting (lord knows I can't do it), but slicing that AirSoft pellet in flight is beyond anything I can imagine. That's superhuman reflexes and sight.
I knew a guy who could shoot shotgun hulls with a .22 when they were thrown. IO would never have believed it if only told. I am a reasonably competent shotgunner and rifleman, but some stuff leaves me struck dumb.
