Without making any use to any reference materials whatsoever, including of course search engines, I managed 9 of 10. Oddly enough, I'd read the one I missed many times -- Erec en Enide -- but somehow failed to remember the opening.

I got 8 of 10, and have actually only read some of them, and none recently, like in 20 years recently. Thanks for the Erec en Enide tip.
8, never having read a single one that I can recall. I had to guess from style and context. The only one I knew instead of guessing was The Canterbury Tales, "Whan that Aprille" or whatever, the first line being the only one I'd have had any chance of recognizing!
