The dark spiritual rulers and thrones, principalities, are what helped create this current status quo.
The light side counter acting force (for when there is darkness, there also must be light) work through various methods, some better than others, to bring humanity out of the darkness.
Human politics and leaders, operate in an illusion of a world that they believe is reality, because they believe humanity is the top dog in the food chain.
