My first thought on this concerned the time after my college switched from college resources to provide food in the school's cafeteria to outsourcing our meals to Saga Food Service.

That was survival, since at the time, they couldn't hold a candle to, or a sterno heater under, what the college's cooks and student cook's helpers help had been providing.
