Swinging for the Fences

Virginia, home of the NRA, has recently elected a solid blue government. Bills are already being filed that intend to impose heavy restrictions on 2nd Amendment rights; dozens of localities have passed 'sanctuary' laws or resolutions that defy proposed enforcement.

This is going to be an interesting year.

It's highly unlikely that the bills will pass as written, especially the one which prohibits mere possession......and therefore will require seizures.

But no one can claim any longer that "seizure" is NOT on the agenda of the Left.

So it's a good time to buy more ammo, Wolverine.

It's true they may never pass, and if they pass they may not survive court review, and if they survive court review they may not be enforceable in the face of sanctuary jurisdictions.

But we've crossed a line that we hadn't crossed before.

I've already got voters coming to me to ask the county to pass a sanctuary amendment.

Pass one. It can’t hurt to have unconstitutional laws barred from taking force both from above (2A) and from below.

That's good to hear, Tex. It's a kind of low level rebellion.

Humanity should last to 2021 at least. Before the Divine Fleet lands. It is not a fleet but it is probably the closest translation I can make. The ancient Hebrews just called it the Host of Heaven.
