Mad Middle Earth

The problem I have with parody videos is that I often haven't encountered the original. I don't do radio or TV, so if it hasn't happened to come across my internet screen, I don't get the joke.

And I thought you were a LOTR fan? Or do you mean "Mad World"? It's pretty old, released by Tears for Fears 30 years ago, though people keep covering it.

Oh, well, then it's just me not paying attention. I know the name Tears for Fears, although I couldn't link them up in my mind with any song names (except this one, now that you've told me).

It's always safe to assume that a pop cultural reference from me won't be current!

From our era, isn't that a contradiction in terms?

Ok, I laughed out loud when mentioned Deagol and birthday. It's a very clever parody.
