I have returned to my mountain fastness, after an exhausting near-week in Vegas.
The spring has advanced rapidly in my absence. When I left on Saturday, the trees were showing signs of green buds; now everything is busting and blooming.
It's good to me reminded of the power and importance of life, and what a tremendous gift it is, especially when we live in a society that increasingly tries to diminish it. I should post a little about the Palliative Care nurse I've come to call AoD, short for "Angel of Death". Some work hard to push us over the edge.

Azrael. Some might hope for Valkyrie, or even the Morrigan; but that is the name given in Islam, and in popular Christianity.
